Bertha's Beach is recognised as a wetland area of international importance under the RAMSAR Convention, due to the diverse variety of wetland habitats and wildlife. It is one of only two in the Falklands. It is especially important for breeding and overwintering birds. It is classified as a globally Important Bird Area by Birdlife International. After Bertha's Beach we head back towards Stanley and take a trip to nearby Gypsy Cove to see Magellanic penguins & stunning scenery. Followed by a look around Stanley Homemade lunches & snacks wrapped in compostable/reusuable packaging. Water provided in metal bottles. 5 trees planted for every booking. Our 4x4 vehicles comfortably seat 4 passengers.

On this tour you will be making memories. We will travel approximately 1 hour and then arrive at our breath taking destination. Where you can spend 1 hour walking with the penguins. Be prepared to be challenged with penguin curiosity as these birds in tuxedos are not shy to approach you. A once in a lifetime experience seeing these flightless birds in nature. Other small birds can be seen and other sea mammals are often seen in the distance. Enjoy your packed lunch here or whilst we travel back to Stanley.

This is an opportunity to see Gentoo and Magellanic Penguins along with some of the Islands most famous historic attractions. We take small groups of 4 passengers, provide lunch and entrance fees. Our agents will meet you at the Jetty Visitors Centre. This tour is a little off road, not recommended for pregnant persons or those with back, hip or neck injury. Total tour takes 5-6 hrs

Home to the largest King Penguin colony, the Falkland Islands has over 1200 breeding pairs and will introduce you to them! Volunteer Point is also home to numerous Gentoo and Magellanic penguins and a large variety of other bird life, and also boasts a long white sand-beach on which you can occasionally find a Sea Lion lurking. This is a semi-private tour for 4 people per vehicle (4x4 vehicle). We will be waiting you with a yellow sign with your name, we have yellow jackets and yellow signs. You will find us easily. Jeep departs one hour after the ship docks. Please do all that you can to get ashore quickly as it does make a difference.

This 3.5-hour tour will take you towards the East coast of East Falkland, Berthas Beach, which is the home of 500 pairs of Gentoo Penguins. These penguins are the second largest on the Island, and you'll be able to observe them in their natural habitat. Watch them feed their young and dashing off to sea. Join this tour with 4 seats per vehicle and experience it yourself!
