Kochi Private 3 Day Adventure with Accommodation
From the roar of the crashing Pacific coastline, to rugged mountain heights, and to the whispering sounds of rolling crystalline streams, Kōchi Prefecture is a land connected by the beauty of its scenery. And it is a scenery that is easy to get lost in. In fact, it’s better that way. Forest trails that were once the iron train tracks slowly heal amid the mountains while amazingly blue waters rush along and around flagstones and river rocks that catch and reflect in blue intensity of the Kōchi sky. Known as “Niyodo Blue” the almost unreal color reflected by the various streams weaving throughout Kōchi is evidence of this water’s purity. This quality makes it essential to traditional crafts such as “washi” paper making that is preserved in the area or ideal for a small micro-brewery located in the mountains and dedicated to high-quality. This quality of the rolling waters also makes it a perfect sight to see just the way it is.
Canadian canoe spaceship experience
The river at Miyazakinokawahara Campground in the Ikegawa district of Niyodogawa Town, Kochi Prefecture has blue water and is so transparent that you can see the bottom of the river.
・ Let's experience the airship!
Due to the high transparency of the river, the shadow of the canoe is reflected on the bottom of the river and the canoe appears to be floating in the air.
* Note: It may not be visible depending on the weather.
・ It is safe with a highly stable Canadian canoe.
The wide and stable canoe makes it easy for beginners to operate.
・ In the Niyodo River, you can experience Canadian canoeing only at the Niyodo Blue Furusato Experience Center.
Since it is an experience with a small number of people, you can relax and enjoy the clear stream.
・ A staff member with 30 years of experience as an instructor will accompany you.
・ Because we will give a lecture on land at the beginning, it is safe for first-time users.
・ After practicing in a place where the flow of the river is gentle, enjoy a walk on the water of the circuit course.
・ The Niyodo River, which has the highest water quality in Japan, is so transparent that you can see the bottom of the river even from the surface of the water!
・ Please be healed by the beauty of the Niyodo River!
BikeRafting Adventure in Shimanto-river
You came to the Shimanto River on a trip. What do you do?
Cycling, taking photos at the sunken bridge, eating eels, and so-called "normal" sightseeing is fun, but at Okera Adventures, "Let's do everything you can do on the Shimanto River at once! We offer only one tour per day with a maximum of three people.
You can experience a tour as it is, which our guide (me), who is more of a local outdoor enthusiast, is proud to say is fun.
It may be a little thrilling for some people, but I'm with you at all times, so you can be sure of your safety.
You don't need to be very strong to ride a bike.
If you can ride a bike normally, you can handle it, and I'll give you a lecture if you don't understand what you're doing. Of course, the more physical you are, the more fun you will have.
This is your adventure and your guide will help you with it, ensuring your safety and explaining the different nature and history of the area.
When you tell someone a souvenir story, "I've done that! It's not a tour where people say, "What's that? Can you do that? Amazing! You can play a game that people say "I'm not sure I'm going to be able to do that".
We can also take you to some of the hard-to-get-in shops that only locals visit.
This is a fun activity for any season, so please join us.
For those who are not confident in their physical strength, there is one electric-assisted sports bike available (there are three bikes available for rent). You don't have to pedal very hard to get down the river, but it does flow with the water, so you don't need to be very strong. Maybe, lol.
Depending on the weather conditions, river conditions, season and your fitness, the guide can make arrangements to make it safer and more enjoyable for you.
As for my English, I can speak English very well. Maybe, haha.

This is a simple physical activity which may help you free your mind by hiking around the village and surrounding forests. You will experience rural Japanese countryside landscapes and may meet local people on the walk. A real monk will guide you and share some stories from local history, of Shugendo and Buddhism, and perhaps even help you attain enlightenment yourself. The activity offers a chance to escape from your regular life and an opportunity for self reflection. A Japanese style vegan lunch box is included!
Private Ninja Training in a Cave in Hidaka
Well known today as a ninja, Mohei was a real person who lived in the old village Kusaka-mura, which is the centre of the modern village of Hidaka-mura. According to the legend, he was a poor peasant who fell in love with the daughter of a rich landowner. The affair was doomed, and while he was walking about desperately looking for a place to die, Mohei came upon the cave called Sarudado, where a fantastic creature called a tengu was pursuing an ascetic lifestyle. Mohei became its disciple. So diligent was he that he learned everything his mentor taught and travelled to the town surrounding Kochi castle, where he did such things as giving rice to the poor.
This activity is in the footsteps of the Ninja Mohei. You will wear a Ninja costume and try training in the cave! To reach the cave, you will ride a bicycle and enjoy the Japanese countryside landscape. After the caving, you will relax with a coffee, local black tea and some sweets or fruits.
