His roots as the co-founder of VAST (Voluntary Artists Studio of Thimphu) sets the perfect foundation to teach, since the non-profit organisation was set up in 1998 by professional artists seeking out Bhutanese youths who demonstrated interest in the arts, and to then steer them towards their potential talents in exploring art as a career.
