A two hour drive along the scenic North Coast past the villages of Maracas & Blanchisseuse will bring us to the starting point of the hike: a tiny village in the remote rainforest. This hike is easy and takes approximately 45 minutes one way. You hike along and inside a shallow river to the most amazing waterfall of approximately 65 ft, with a large plunge pool for bathing. After some relaxing time on the big rocks or a refreshing bath - with a nice head-massage from the falls - you then return to the base. Basic changing facilities are provided. You are then taken to the popular Maracas Beach for a delicious "Bake & Fish" sandwich (not included in cost) and another swim (optional).

Experience with a difference, a natural mud bath at L’eau Michel Mud Volcano in south Trinidad. Unlike other mud volcanoes in Trinidad, the mud at L’eau Michel is semi solid and liquid enough for visitors to bathe in.  The mud flows out through active vents. The mud here is not hot despite what the term ‘volcano’ might suggest, the mud is cool and smooth and so dense it keeps you a float. Your 4-hour experience will also take you to the uptown part of the city where you will see the glorious architecture of the Magnificent Seven, which were originally family homes built in the late 19th Century!
